Software services – a real opportunity?

With Web 2.0 or however you want to call newest developments in web technology – software turns more and more to be either web-connected or already implanted in the web. In very modern cases you end up on a website but it looks like an offline software.

What we would like to know from you is:

Would you prefer software to be installed within the web as service instead of installing it on your PC?

Could you tell us why?

We are currently thinking about switching copletly to web services instead of having offline software connected to web services- so we are very curious what you say.
